An end has a start.... I'm just relieved I can hand over the organising of next years contest to you pakeha (or farlymac) 
We got there in the end- without even a prize for motivation. Shame a lot of folk didn't get around to moving their images from the Abstract category to their appropriate designations though.... As far as when voting closes- only one person knows! So folk, vote now!!!!

I'm not sure if we should expect many. If one rule is that only entrants may vote and that most entrant put up three images in each category, there's as few as 13 that may vote in the Landscape and Transport categories.

Well, that theory went out the window with the bathwater, as there are 19 votes in the Landscape category, and 16 in the Transportation, while Abstract has garnered 17 votes. I would think the way the galleries are set up, you have to have a photo in the section before it will even let you vote. At least, that's the way it worked for me. Maybe we could talk someone not in the contest to try a vote, and have them report back on whether they were successful.
