Vuescan and Nikon 8000ED Problems.p

Just got these two hooked up and using a three strip of negatives, the scanner keeps doing one and a half negatives and then another one and a half negatives, ie I am not getting the middle image. What do I have to adjust here please.

And I have it on LIST 1-3 scan. When I had Nikon Scanner I could input either 6x6 or 6x9 negative scan mode but not on this set up.....what am I doing wrong here ?

What do you mean by three strip of negatives? I'm guessing you're scanning 120 film, is it 6x6? I usually have to mess with the 'Frame Offset' and 'Frame Spacing' when scanning 120.
 
Yes, I cut my 120 film into strips of three 6x6 and 6x9 for another camera and also because I have a darkroom. It will not let me get a full scan of the second image on the 6x6 negative and wastes time doing a scan of one and a half negatives.
I have played with frame spacing but it changes nothing.
Is there a way to tell it the size of the negatives in the scanner ?????
