A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I spent the day helping a friend to whelp a litter of puppies (well, to be honest, my wife helped and I took photographs). Here are a few of the photographs from the day.

I assumed that was the lens ! Great to have .7m minimum focus, right ?

Also the first time I see a portrait of Marisa :) My regards to her.

No question, I couldn't have made many of the photographs that I did without the .7m min. focus capability of that lens.

The problem on the day was the M6. The VF flared so badly that I lost quite a few shots. I was so fed up with it by the end of the day that I finally packed it up and shipped it off to Gerry Smith for the VF upgrade. I should get it back next week some time and can't wait to see what difference the upgrade makes.

They're Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. But actually, all puppies, no matter the breed, look the same at birth. It's bizarre, but a newborn Great Dane looks the same as a newborn Havanese.
