Wow, I love them. I saw them some weeks ago in a photo-stream of a newspaper about futuristic architecture of the former east block states. Very impressive.
My contribution are two buildings here in my hometown Bremen, Germany. The long one is called "Fallturm". It is basically a 146m high tube which can be evacuated until there is space-quality vacuum, in which then micro-gravitational experiments are done. The can get about 9 seconds of zero gravity by shooting a capsule straight up to the roof and letting it falling down again...
The other one is called "Universum" and is a science museum one corner away from the Fallturm.
