Look forward seeing your panning shots, not restricting to cars or motorcycles, it would be nice to indicate the type of camera (i.e. film rangefinder, DSLR, etc.)

PS.: Searched but couldn't find a similar thread, please et me know if I'm double posting.

XA seagull-chasing exploits. Pan + motion blur (slow shutter speed while running and trying to keep #$%!@! seagulls centred in vf)

Wow you guys are really good.. Lynn those birds are a trip. I can imagine some really sweet large prints.

My technique needs work..I guess I should choose a faster subject :D

Yep ... the snail shot is a classic. Especially in the context of this thread! :p

It absolutely made my day. :)

Andy, that's a classic, thanks for the good laugh to start my weekend! :D

Agree 100% re: the snail. :D

I've shot hundreds if not thousands on DSLRs but need to do more with film!

On digital it felt like "if you shoot enough there's going to be one or two good ones", but it feels much more like an achievement on film.

Honed my skills shooting F1 and MotoGP on a DSLR as well, but never really thought about shooting motor sports on film, thanks for the great shots.

Hehe ...Thanks guys I'm happy you got a laugh :)

Lets see some more panning shots!
This thread has some really great images to kick it off.
Anyone else ?

This one is not particularly technically good but.. it's a joy filled little dude and I like it.
