Look forward seeing your panning shots, not restricting to cars or motorcycles, it would be nice to indicate the type of camera (i.e. film rangefinder, DSLR, etc.)
PS.: Searched but couldn't find a similar thread, please et me know if I'm double posting.

XA seagull-chasing exploits. Pan + motion blur (slow shutter speed while running and trying to keep #$%!@! seagulls centred in vf)

I seem to spend too much time chasing seagulls..

Yep ... the snail shot is a classic. Especially in the context of this thread!
It absolutely made my day.

Agree 100% re: the snail.
I've shot hundreds if not thousands on DSLRs but need to do more with film!
Here are really the only two successful ones so far:
1) 35mm viewfinder - Agfa Silette LK

SCCA Trans Am series - Agfa Silette LK by Richard Wintle, on Flickr
2) 6x6 TLR - Voigtländer Brillant V6, and yes I looked like a numpty doing it, but I don't care!

On digital it felt like "if you shoot enough there's going to be one or two good ones", but it feels much more like an achievement on film.
Honed my skills shooting F1 and MotoGP on a DSLR as well, but never really thought about shooting motor sports on film, thanks for the great shots.

After the snail, we're all eclipsed. Still, you may enjoy this...

After the snail, we're all eclipsed.
I think only panning some sap flowing down a tree, with an 8x10 view camera, could possibly supersede the snail.
Nice old car, that.
