A bit disappointing, thought this woud be the place where I now finally can get rid of some nekkid-woman-candids ! Did not dare to post them here up 'til today...

Im not consider me a voyeur (in the bad meaning). I like see...

David,

Wonderful shots as always. You have managed to capture the romance of Doisneau with the decisive moment of HCB. Shots 1 and 3 are simply serendipity ... and lots of talent of course. :)

All (people/street/portrait) photographers are voyeurs in a sense, no?

When we notice/capture/record a personal/private moment.

Thanks Frank. You made my point. Does the word "voyeur"always have to have negative connotations?

It's all about language.

In England, 'Voyeur' means someone who gains some kind of sordid/sexual gratification from looking at others.

'Observer' is a cleaner word.

But 'Voyeur' will have different meanings in different places.

(Like asking for 'cous-cous' in Lebanon - cringe)

A bit off topic, but I scrolled to my post on 5/26/06 (2+ years ago!) and that's NOT my picture! What the heck? Does flickr reassign url's??
