So, big deal huh? Well, it is nice to be able to go and get a roll of 35mm T-max 400 24 exp. any time of the day or night. I have been buying some from time to time just so they will have some stock turnover and continue to have it.

I live in Arkansas, and I have a local Wal-Mart Supercenter, and that is where I found it. Not particularly cheap, but available.

How about other parts of the country? Does Wal-Mart carry T-max universally?
My local Wal-Mart also has the Kodak b/w chromogenic film, which I don't use.

I've seen Polaroid at Wal-Mart priced cheaply--if you buy in a 4 pack, you can sometimes get it for about $1.50 to 1.80 a roll for 24 exposures. If you have a Dollar Tree near you, look for Ferrania's ASA 200 "Solaris" at $1 for 24 exposures. So far, what I've bought easily compares to Fuji or Kodak's standard grades, and may be slightly better. They also carry a Chinese ASA 100 film (24 exposures) for $1...under the name "Special Moments" or "Special Memories" or something special. It is also ok if you want a slower film.

Well, color film is available universally still...my point was that standard develop at home with standard b/w chemicals type b/w film was surprisingly still available at Wal-Mart.

And I purchase some on occaission, just because I have the ability to do so locally.
