My flea market find for this week was a Walz Electric 18 that I got for $17. Seems to be quite a steal, as the shutter still works, the selenium meter still functions, all the dials still turn, and the rangefinder is dead on. The only real problem I've found is when you turn the shutter speed dial, the aperture dial turns as well, but it doesn't happen the other way around and I doubt that would be too hard to fix.

At first glance, this seems like a neat little camera. Copal SV shutter, Nitto-Kogaku S Kominar 1:1.8 lens, self timer, selenium meter. Rangefinder window is in need of a cleaning, but the frame lines are nice and bright. I'll try to post some pics later tonight.

A quick Google search didn't turn up too much. Anyone have any info on this one?

Well, everything WAS working!!

I noticed that it was possible to turn past the 1.8 mark on the aperture ring, so I started playing with it a little. Well, suddenly it went past the f/16 mark and I heard a loud "click". Now the self timer is bent and the shutter won't fire. :bang:

Oh well. Better that it happened now than in the middle of a roll of film!

Here's some pics:
