My wife is a wedding shooter. Here are some Nikon D3 pics in her blog from her latest wedding. She shot some at 3200 iso. Thought it might interest some to see what it can do.

Her pictures are great, wish I knew which ones were iso 3200. She really shined during the reception IMO.

I'll ask her which ones were at 3200 and let you know, but just the fact that you cant really tell says a lot about the D3 I think.

Way too slow to load.
I'd rather don't know what a D3 can do. I want to keep my money in my wallet;-)
Cheers,

Nice photos, but what is the groom doing with his head up the bride's dress? Or should I not ask?

Not just good but really great stuff, some of it genius. She really gets into the mood and captures the day. Bob.

My wife is a wedding shooter.
So you are Stacey's husband, nice to finally meet you... Stacey always mentions in another forum we both belong how her husband is a film street photographer and has also shared your work, which is very nice BTW.

Is this an ad or something? It doesn't look like the usual post on here. I will probably get flamed for this, but to me they look like DSLR pics.

That actually looks like 6400 or 12800 unless it's been pushed in PP. The d3 3200 is almost noiseless in smaller sized pics.

I won't deny that your wife has talent (she's very good), but not a single one of those shots impressed me in terms of what that camera can do. Blancmange is how I'd describe the utterly lifeless tonality that sensor seems to deliver.

Fair enough, youre entitled to an opinion. Clients emailed and couldnt stop raving, so thats the important thing, yes? They have about 700 paper proofs coming their way soon.
Not an ad, just thought some people would like to see results from a Nikon D3 is all.

My M5s need red dots!
I'm REALLY impressed by both, her photographs and their color quality (which shows even in this office computer from which I'm writing). I've never been to a wedding that much fun!!
Either that or she's great...
Thanks for sharing!

Tell her the photos are fantastic - dynamic with lots of emotion!
As an aside, I've posted this before, but thought I'd post it again... she may or may not find it as a source of inspiration as I do, but the pictures are magnificent...
