Hi

Today I received my GSN in the mail which I got from a RFF member.

I knew the flash synch was not working (cable unsoldered from top plate) when I bought it so I set to fixing that as soon as I got the camera. When putting it back, I menaged to break the pin-face (pin-eye) screw that goes on top of the ASA dial. Does anyboddy have this screw from a junker camera, or a spare screw? I do not know where to get this screw other than asking around in RFF.

And some other questions:

1-About the overexposure light: This light is only lit when the shutter release button is very slightly pressed, it goes off after that. On the other hand, the underexposure light comes on when the shutter button is depressed halfway. Is this normal? Either light goes off when the release button is completely depressed.

2-The underexposure light goes on below 1/30 sec, and overexposure at 1/500, right? I tried to count the f/stops between when the underexposure light goes off and when the overexposure light comes on and I get less than 4 stops in between (more like 3) Is this normal? I have not tried it in daylight yet.

3-How do you adjust the rangefinder? (horizontal adjustment)

Thanks in advance

Berk
