WANTED: My old M6 TTL. (Serial number: 2466921)
Hi all,
My name is Henry. I'm a reporter based in Sydney, Australia. I am trying to track down a black Leica M6TTL with a modified lever (from an M2/M3) I sold some years ago in Australia when I was hard up. It was a regretful sale based on necessity at the time. I am wondering if I could try and buy it back. It has legitimate war zone bona fides from when I was based overseas as a correspondent. I've attached a few images I took with that M6TTL while covering ethnic conflict in Myanmar. I have the serial number: 2466921
Thanks for you help!

Cameras. I has it.
Was the camera sold to a person or a shop? If a person, maybe he can be located. Have you tried asking on other photo sites such as Photrio or on other social platforms such as Facebook?
Best of luck in your quest.

I know the feeling of wanting to be re-united with a previously owned Leica. Sometimes I still hunt online for my IIIf red-dial, #685475. Henry, I hope you find your M6TTL. Do you ever look for it on eBay?

About 3100 black M6 TTL's were ever made and sold worldwide. In Australia, that number must be in the hundreds. You might get lucky. Cheers, OtL
