I delivered my 'Water' photos to the Town Hall last month.
The exhibition is due to open tomorrow, and everything looked fine at the preview last week.
Then we had a freak rainstorm yesterday. The exhibition hall roof leaked... and the photos were damaged.
They want new photos for tomorrow.
I've told them to go ahead with water-damged photos depicting water. (And I sent them a set of HIRES jpegs too.)

How ironic. You should take a picture of the water damaged pics and add that to the display.

Good idea. Now I'm hoping the gallery walls are water stained too!

I would also ask for a check to compensate you for the damaged photos - they should have insurance.

Just some guy, you know?
Well, if not, a bucket of water could always fix that...have a great show; I think the irony works well, as long as you're okay with it.
I'd definitely follow Kin's advice - sounds like you could gather enough work for a second show. Enjoy.
Cheers,

Jon, IMO you did the right thing. A freak accident like this must have been pre-destined.

Sort of like performance art, but instigated by an act of nature (God?) not man.

It sounds like a "blessing" from the powers that be. Best wishes!
