I'm waiting for a roll of HP5+ to dry (developed with Ilford Ilfosol 1+9 7min)... while inspecting it I've noticed that some pics are in fact "positives" instead negatives :confused: They llok completely different than the other pics (there at least three or four unevenly spaced in the strip).... Any explanation? Have you ever see something like what I'm trying to describe? (my english is at minimun)

That's the combo I've been using lately and I haven't run across that. Going to soup some HP5 in Ilfosol 3 this afternoon pushed to 1600 and I'll let you know how it goes.

Is this only when viewed in a certain light? Illumination against a dark background can give the appearance of a positive - the ambotype effect.

OTOH perhaps a touch of solarization - any chance of a light leak?

wait till the film is dry then check it out again.
if the positive look to the negative still exists, then it could be partial solarization if the film was light struck after exposure or mainly during development.

I think you are right, after drying and looking better everything is OK, a bit of underdevelopment to tell you the truth, but every pic is a negative, as it should be. I didn't noticed new and dark courtains in the room I dry negatives

Thanks
