I have two Weston 650 meters (black, "Art Deco") that have active cells (bright light will pin the needle at the right end of the scale), but I can't get the needles to rest at "Zero" when I mask the cell; turning the Zero-adjust moves the needle, but won't bring it back to Zero.
The result is that both meters read "high"... but consistent when compared against my Luna-Six at various light-levels. (If I set the 650 at ASA 64 and the Luna-Pro at ASA 400, I get the same f-stop / shutter combos on both meters)
Does anyone know how to open-up the 650 ?
I'm thinking that if I can get at the meter, and can tweak the zero-adjust linkage, and bring the needle down to the Zero mark, I may have a usuable meter...
