A lady by the name of Joni Sternbach has been doing wet plate surf images for some time. I think her work is a bit more dynamic but neither knock my socks off. Perhaps you need to be into surfing. Thanks for sharing though.

Ha! I thought the OP was about Sternbach, then klicked the link... Seems a weird similarity/coincidence.
