Wetting Agent for C-41 Process?

I notice that some tutorials on the C-41 process suggest using a bit of Photo Phlo in the final rinse.

Is this necessary? I do have some wetting agent but it's labeled for black & white film. Would that work?

Not necessary, but i use. Yes normal WAC/Photoflo will work.

I thought this, but it took sooo long to dry compared to b&w

Indeed, the Stabilizer is containing also a wetting agent.

The old type Stabilizer, suitable for all C41 and E6 films (also before approx. 2001) is containing Formalin (0,5%-1%) and a low dose of wetting agent, best made in destilled water.
