Anyone ever used the CV Nokton 35/1.2? How about other 35mm lenses?

Yup, I did. I found it balanced real nice with the weight and bulk of the R-D1 body.
Takes beautiful photos, too.
Morgan has plenty of experience, maybe he'll show up, too.

Yep! I have one and I like it very much on the Epson (can't post photos now, I'm travelling). It's a bit heavy and bulky compared to other 35s (I also have the 35/2.5 Color Skopar, the old 35/3.5 Summaron and my preferred 35, the UC-Hexanon 35/2).
All the 35s work very well on the Epson (I tend to use the 28 position on the VF, works better for me).
The best bargain is the 35/2.5 Skopar, it's almost as fast as the Hexanon and very sharp indeed. So light and inexpensive. Why don't I use it more nowadays? Because of the Hexanon and the Nokton...
The best overall lens, for me, is the UC-Hexanon (in fact, I like it so much that I don't miss my ex-35 Cron/ASPH). Small, very sharp, better tonality (for me) than the 35/2.5, lovely bokeh. Pricey, though.
The 35/1.2, on the other hand, is amazing for low light work, although heavy and bulky. It's a specialty lens, because of the bulk and weight. You will need your RF properly aligned to be able to use the 35/1.2 as it deserves (wide-open) and with the sharpness it can produce (just make a few tests on a tripod at f1.2, bracketing focus a bit and you'll be amazed at the difference in sharpness between small differences in focus position...).
The 35/3.5 Summaron is in the familiy since the 50s, so I'll keep it forever...
When I get home, I'll try to post a few photos.
