OK, so this morning I'm doing my regular routine... up out of bed, put coffee on, then have my big mug of tea, log on to mail and RFF while sorta watching CBC Newsworld on the televsion.
All of a sudden my ears perk up as Allison announces that today's photo of the day was taken by David Cale, of Brampton, Ontario.
Whoa!!! David is my best friend (we've known each other since 1971), and so that's very cool, eh? It was this shot, which he made last year.
But wait, there's more ....
I yell at him that his photo is on Newsworld ... cuz he just happened to come in last night to stay over for the night, and he's still snoozing in the guest bedroom upstairs... like I said, what are the chances?
Think I'll by lottery tickets today.
