I just started a bathroom remodel, so I guess I will get a lot done in there. By the end of the day though I probably will be suffering from RFF withdrawal. I hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow Jorge.

i have great fear of being alone-what will i do without you guys?

hey, maybe i'll head out and take a few shots!

The weather is perfect here in the Virginia area. Also, pictures will be back tomorrow from the Goo'd Canon lens. I will be scanning them for the weekend.

Jorge, the best of luck with the move.

Joe, we'll need a new theme challenge for September. It'll be hard to top the one you picked for August!

Yes, tomorrow looks like a good day to do some shooting ;)

It's going to be the house cleaning day for me :)

Good luck Jorge, please don't leave us without RFF for too much ! :D

I finished doing my kitchen in late spring. What a mess for two months, and a non-functional kitchen for three weeks! Completely gutted, but a beauty now.

As for me, it's good the server will be down. I have to finish planning a week long backcountry trip for next week. Which camera to bring... hrmmmmm......

Since you asked, I'll spill the beans but you'll either think I'm loony or biting off more than I can chew. I started holidays this morning and have decided to catch up on trying out the many (way too many) cameras and lenses I've bought and haven't had time to use. The project? Sixty days of holidays, 60 cameras, 60 rolls of film. I'm cheating a bit since I'm using commercial rolls of Kodak 200 that come in 8 exposures per roll. Sound goofy enough? Today I used a Canon Snappy S (auto everything bought from a thrift store) and a Canon Sure Shot Joy (gift from my dear wife.) Tomorrow is time for my Zenit 3M w/Industar and Voigtlander BL w/Skopar. Friday is full blown Argus day with a C3, C3 Colormatic or Matchmatic (I'm fuzzy on some Argus models), 2-C4's, an Autronic 1, Autronic 35 and if I have time an Argus A2F. Saturday is Kodak day with 2 Retinas, a Retinette, 2 Signet 35's, a Signet 40, a Kodak 35 and a Kodak 35 RF all scheduled for some action. I have a list and like Santa, I'm checking it twice. Had no idea how many I've either never used or ever checked with film, so I expect the odd light leak, spoiled photo from forgetting just how the durned thing worked etc. but that's half the fun anyway. With 65 rolls of 200 Kodak, I'm armed for bear and ready to go. If I ever get all caught up (highly doubtful but there's always hope) maybe I'll get some time to scan a few pics and post for your amusement. Anyhow, that's my story so if you see a guy with 6 or more cameras round his neck, juggling them and snapping like mad, don't worry, it's only me catching up on my project. Have a great day tomorrow and if my idea sounds a little, you know, wierd... that's why I use the moniker. Curt.

Thank you Rover, now if only I can decide which Yashica, Minolta, Fed or Konica for Sunday.....

All you have to do is work somewhere for 26 years, then be off sick for 9 months so you don't use any holidays, then take everything you have as one huge lump. See, no problems, easy as pie, lol. P.S. middle of Sept. Vegas baby.

Nice project Curt - will LOVE to see some of the results! Maybe enough of a project to use some of your time to set up a homepage dedicated to it? :)

What will I be doing tomorrow? Preparing for Hurricane Frances. I live in south Florida.

Tomorrow is September 2 and the server will be down! Completely forgot about it!

I dunno... I have a long teaching day... and I was planning on rewarding myself at the end with a bit of chatter here. What will I do? :(

Aside from teaching... it all seems my garage-cleaning project got a new boost! What will my wife (whose name, BTW, is Frances) say when she hears why am I at work so earnestly?

I'll tell you tomorrow! :)

Wow, good luck with Frances, Oldprof! And you too, Francisco! :)

I have three rolls of processed film to pick through, looking for decent images. Most of it documents the demolition of another small building in the block south of us, but one roll is from a recent Farmer's Market Saturday.

And I will watch the tape my wife recorded of tonight's convention speeches; heard Zell Miller's is a real zinger.

The brother of a client of mine works for the government as a meteorologist - we were talking last week and he mentioned then that they were very concerned about models of a depression that was yet to form.

They have computer model after computer model being spit out right now, but as of tonight, he seemed to have the most faith in a model that had Francis tracking more westward than it is currently moving - that would not bode well for south Florida, old prof.

Take good care.
