On Thanksgiving.
I made a few snapshots at my brother's house with the Styluis 3.5/Fuji 200, then went to my dad's place.
Dad is not doing well (he is 82 and his heart and vascular system are in poor shape), so I wanted to get some remembrance shots. I finished a roll of Kentmere 400 in the FED-2/I-26. I just finished running the roll. The four negs look sound. I also shot him with some K400/Konica S III, and Acros 100 with the FE2, Nikkor 50/1.8 and E35.2.5
Pop's mind is in superb shape, and he enjoyed the sitting, as it were. You could say he is just a tiny, entsy bit vain, even as worn out as he is. 🙂
Pop never was a big man at 160 pounds or so in his 40s; he's at 101 now, and that is a mild improvement in weight.
I'll post up some pics in the morning from the FED shots. Others will come as rolls are finished ...

Hope you got some good shots. I had friends round for dinner and started off a roll of Neopan 1600 to try out a new Elmarit 28mm on my M6 in my dimly lit apartment.

I went for a wander with my FM3A again today. Now that I have a diopter on the way to improve the viewfinder sharpness I'm starting to feel a little more in tune with the Nikon.

The Nikon SLRs have the ability to do multiple exposures and are one of the few SLRs that can ... so a fair few of the shots on the 24 exposure roll of Acros are double exposures. It's interesting to take a shot, memorise the image and then find something else to shoot that will compliment the first image when the two are overlayed. It's surprising what works sometimes ... photony texas has the technique down pat IMO.

After long time of sitting unused in the dry cabinet, I took my trusty M4-P / 35mm Summilux-M out and brought it with me to work today. Took a photo of my college (loaded APX100) and waiting for work to finish to take some more photos ... (hopefully) 🙂

Mostly kids at play. I dusted off my Pentax LX with the 50/1.2 and was once more amazed at it's brilliant viewfinder and great handling. Then I tried the tiny 100/2.8 macro lens (recently purchased here on RFF), what a fun lens it is. I just love my LX kit (28/35/50/100).. only problem is now I have more film to develop 🙂

11 frames of 12 on 120. Mostly of this and that in the oldest town i Norway, Tønsberg. Hope to develop the film and another this evening.

A roll of Super Presto 1600 in my GR1 on my commute back and forth to work today. There's always things to take photos of, especially in B&W! 🙂

we aim to please. one turkey for those who like their meat well-done and another for those who like it rare.

actually, the story is that deep frying pot only holds one bird at time and since these turkeys were small we two of them in quick succession. 42 minutes per bird.

Felt like shooting someone at the Bank!
Good job I was on the phone!
Bank had messed up an arrangement they set up for me yesterday having assured me they had done everthing OK. I had them read back the instructions I gave and even then they managed to b***s up.
Did in the end, having talked to India and Ireland, Bank admitted they had got things wrong. Think, just think, it might now be sorted.
Only one of 4 hassles today.
And it snowed an inch or so and I couldn't get out before it got dark!
So no photos today!

Paul - I'm sure your Dad enjoyed his day - lucky to have his son around.

didn't shoot anything on Turkey Day, but had this morning free, so I went down to the Lackawanna Railroad's Pocono Main Line about a mile from my house, and planned to shoot one of Steamtown's "Santa Trains" to Moscow, usually pulled by a steam locomotive.

I had my trusty 1934 Leica III kit and some Kodachrome.

To my surprise ,when I got to my usual run-by spot, I found a local rail authority freight shuffling hopper cars between the mainline and an adjacent siding.... the really unusual thing was they had six (6) ALCo diesels at the head of the consist...

I never see more than four diesels on Canadian Pacific's freight drags heading west out of Scranton bound for Binghamton...(long nasty hill with many curves).

Once they had the freight stock out of the way, I saw a brakeman throw the switch back for mainline travel, so I figured the excursion wasn't far away...

I heard the whistle just as I was fumbling a fresh roll of K-Chrome 200 into the Barnack, and managed to squeeze-off a half-dozen shots as the train thuindered past at about 35 mph (up-hill grade out of Scranton), pulled by ex Canadian National #3254 Mikado...

It was kind of cold and gray, so that made for impressive stack and steam plumes...

After the excursion went through, I hiked back down the line, and took some close ups of the six diesels and hopper cars...

Hopefully there's some good pictures out of it all...

Everyday I'm shooting my daughter on Fuji films with my MP and Zeiss lenses. Got about 6 rolls shot on Thanksgiving to send off to Richard Photo Lab.

I made 25 shots of a building from slightly different angles to be put together into a montage. I have not yet developed the roll, but hope to do so later this weekend.

Portraits of newly-moustche'd guys taking part in the "Movember" prostate cancer fundraising thing...really fun stuff in B&W 6x6 ... Hasselblad 500C, 80mm with Zeiss close up filters.
Beautiful shallow DOF, made from my stash (pardon the pun) of TXP.
