I mean, what did you see, but take a pass on.

In a thrift store today, I passed on a nice clean Nikon 6006/601 with 28-80Nikkor lens, in an ever ready case, for $40. Takes a fancy battery, and I just have too many (better) cameras.

I did buy a $4 compact Pentax AF P+S, model PC-550, with 28mm lens of unspecified aperture, built in flash with no way of turning it off, in a lovely leather Nikon branded slip-in case. I bought it mainly for the case, to protect either my Contax Tvs or Rollei S.

Oops, this thread was supposed to be about what you passed on! How about you?

I looked at and considered (for almost 2 minutes) buying a fairly complete Pentax Auto110 outfit...Then decided I would probably use it as much as I use my Minox B--a few rolls when I first got it and nothing since.

A Domke F802 and Voigtlander 28mm f/2

A year ago my girlfriend gave me an old leather bag for my laptop. It didn't fit so I shoved it in the closet. Fast forward to today when my Domke bag insert arrived. For some reason I remembered the bag looking a lot like those fancy angler bags some of ya'll use. The insert fit perfectly. I googled the name of the company and it turns out it's a Mulholland bag that's 15+ years old from back when they were still made in the USA. Glad she had the foresight to score it for less than 10 bucks at a garage sale a decade ago. Bag search over!

I have been hemming and hawing over a 28mm lens for my M8 and decided today that I don't want any more gear.

(I failed to not buy sensor cleaning swabs though...)

Hi FrankS. I have one of those Nikon N6006 cameras. As you said, the battery is a little pricey, but not too bad, and they're excellent cameras. Just shoot me a PM. I just never used mine after buying it from KEH. It's still in their plastic bag.

What I didn't buy today was that Rolleiflex 3.5F that's for sale here in the classifieds for $525! Wow, that is a great camera at a great price. No battery worries either :)

Thanks Steve, but it was the lens that I was most interested in. It would work on my kid's D90.

I did not buy a stack of SD and Compact flash cards today for an upcoming trip. I did however buy a new Macbook Air 11/128 and a Lacie 1TB external. :p

A rugged wear Domke F-832 at Samy's camera... they want 250 bucks for it...WTF! I'll just wait till I get paid and buy it from B&H for a 100 less.

A Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 or an Asus Eee Pad Transformer.

I can't decide which I want. The Tab is super compact and will be easy to throw in the camera bag. But the Eee Pad is a lot more useful having a MicroSD reader and HDMI out and it has a more neutral display. I want the Eee Pad more, but I don't want to regret not being able to take it anywhere.

EDIT: I ordered the Asus Eee Pad. Should be here Tuesday.

I didnt buy a whole leica outfit today.. By the way, if someone from NY is interested. NYC Craigslist, M6TTL, 35 asph cron, 90 Elmarit, 135 f3.4 APO, $4K..
Seems like a descent deal... Seems like a real seller too...

Canon 35mm 2.8 LTM lens.

Silly that I was even looking at it - I'm still trying to make a call on putting money into a CLA for my Summaron 35mm 3.5 or selling it for a Voigtlander 35mm 2.5.

A natural-finish OLP Musicman 2 clone bass guitar with upgraded pickups for $199, but the store is open tomorrow :)...

Oh, photographic stuff? Well, an auction for a Gossen meter I'm bidding on over at the EvilBay won't end until tomorrow... I'm a low-key guy these days.

Pondering a local ad for a Voigtlander Prominent with 50 Ultron and case. Already have one with the Nokton, but....
