What filters to ask for from Leica?

I've bitten the bullet and ordered an M8 from Mr. Rose. I'll be getting 2 filters from Leica. One will be a 39mm. The other, I'm not sure what to ask for, since their 43mm filter is a bizarre pitch and I'm buying a B+W for the lens I have which is 43mm.

So, what should I ask for? Is there one that's particularly in demand such that I should just order it and sell it here?

Thanks,
Ben

Congratulations. The 49mm was in short supply some time ago, but other than that I don't know.

Enjoy the camera.

Hmmm... I would not be planning to sell. What lenses do you have/will you get in the forseeable future?

If the filter is for the 50mm LHSA Asph. Summilux, the B+W will not work. The Leica filter is designed so the shade can be attached and reversed on the filter.

If not, FWIW, generally the larger the filter diameter size, the more expensive the filter. So you'll get the most "bang for your buck" with a larger filter.

I got a 39mm and a 46mm for my Ultron 28mm lens. I figured it made more sense to get one that would be suited likely to indoor shooting (bars and taverns :) where there would be tungsten light.
