I have a one-off (machined) adapter for Robot Bayonet mount cameras (Royal, Recoder) made to adapt ????. It has a "mystery bayonet" that looks almost like an Exaxta mount-- and the focal flange lengths even seems in the same rough ballpark--- but the flanges are a bit too large and thick on it to fit. Seeing a Pro-Tessar (Contaflex) in junk bin at a local photo shop.. I tried it.. and it fits. The Contaflex glass, however, are not complete optical units so I can fully discount that the adapter was intended for these... Since the adapter was clearly used.. the question is for what?
I've already asked in the Contax group here but ... no answer..
What about QBM mount (Rollei SL35)? Any ideas?

QBM is not like Contaflex, nor Exakta. My blind guess would be "Exakta Real" - the aperture coupling Exakta derived mount for the short lived West German Exakta. That one is very Exakta like, but a bit too big (classic Exakta lenses could be adapted with a thin shim ring).

Real is 46mm wide. Exakta is 38mm. This mount is 37mm wide. The flanges of the bayonet are. as mentioned, also somewhat thinner than those depolyed in the Exakta mount. The mount seems really quite similar to the Contaflex (or probably Contarex) but there is no provision to set an aperature...
The focal-flange distance seems also to be in the neighborhood of 47.5mm (16.5+31) or so..

Could it be Icarex Bayonet mount?.
What is the width of the Icarex BM? Looking at the pictures its hard to tell.. Again.. the "mystery" mount is a tad smaller than Exakta. If the Icarex BM is a Contaflex mouint withut the aperture magic..??? I have found little info.. other than that adapters to fit T-mount glass exist..

I'm just guessing here, but what about Contaflex 126 mount?
The Contaflex 126 does not seem to resemble the Contaflex bayonet at all:
