I have a one-off (machined) adapter with a "mystery bayonet"--- I got it with a some other pieces. It looks almost like an Exaxta mount--- and the focal flange lengths even seems in the same rough ballpark--- but the flanges are a bit too large and thick on it to fit. Seeing a Pro-Tessar (Contaflex) in junk bin at a local photo shop.. I tried it.. and it fits. The Contaflex glass, however, are not complete optical units so I can fully discount that the adapter was intended for these... Since the adapter was clearly used.. the question is for what?
