What gear are you currently craving? What if you got $10,000 from your rich uncle, Art Vandalay, and you had to spend it immediately one piece of camera gear. What would you get?
This would be your dream gear. This is the item you look at online all the time and drool over.
Please no "well, actually I'd take the $10,000 and put $5,000 into municpal bonds, and spent $150 on a Canon 50/1.8, $225 on a Summaron 35/3.5...."
Right now, perhaps largely due to my new found interest in medium format, I look at a Linhof Technorama with fascination.

Right now I just want a Nikonos III and a W-nikkor 35 to go with it. Considering offering my Bessa setup up for trade.

I'd get a 50mm Summilux ASPH, a 35mm Summilux ASPH and a Zeiss Ikon. I think that would probably satisfy my GAS for at least a few months or so...

Funny you bring up inheriting $10k. I Did inherit close to $35K in February this year.. I did spend a good amount on my only RF system.. Here is what I got:
Leica M5
VM 28mm f/2 Ultron
VM 35mm f/1.4 SC Nokton
VM 50mm f/1.1 Nokton
Leitz 90mm f/2 Summicron V2
Sigma EX 105 Macro for K20d
BG-2 Grip for K20d
2nd Photogenic 320ws studio light (finally)
A 12x18 light color corrected light box
Epson NX515 multi-task printer with a nice flatbed scanner
Custom Solid Oak "L" shape desk for laptop, 35mm scanner, light-box and printer... My work station...
And a new fast i5 CPU laptop
About $7.5K
...My wife got to buy a new (used) SUV that grabbed $12K
Plus some Solid Oak stuff for her.
But, I still have one lens left to go....
I am tossed between the VM 21mm f/4 or the VM 15mm f/3.5. I am leaning towards the 21mm... I pretty sure I'll find more use for it over the 15mm.

Just recently I was drooling over a 55mm Rolleiflex WA setup ($4-5k).

I'd get an M9. I have everything else I need or want. I don't need a digital leica, but I want one.

If there was no other practical piece of equipment that I needed for the field or the studio, then I probably wouldn't turn down a Linhof Technorama 617III.

Since we are just dreaming here, I'd say a Hasselblad Super Wide.

So many things, so little time. I think I'd buy a wide format printer, say an Epson 9700, then I'd like either a GF1 or an EP-2, maybe a Tokina 11-16mm for my nikon, a 90mm for my xpan and the rest I'd spend on getting my darkroom off the ground (ie everything but the enlarger...)

All I really want these days (that I don't have) is a good 5x7 field camera.
I voted other because it changes on an hourly basis.
Along the same lines ....

Leica M4-P, Summicron 50mm (both made in Canada), and a whole lot of Tri-X.

and:
-a black paint Nikon SP with 35, 50 & 105mm lenses
-end mill / lathe
-an intern to scan 10 years' worth of negatives (that's not really gear though)

In reality I want a 75/2.5 color heliar to round out my Bessa R kit. Dreaming I would like a Leica M4 & a 28mm Canon lens with finder. Just like Gary Winogrand had when he passed away. Not really sure on the brand of lens, but most I read say it was a canon 28mm lens!
