Fuji has been open about its lens roadmap which, I think, is an awesome move on their part. It allows for people to have the confidence to buy into the Fuji X system knowing that Fuji is committed to the Fuji X system. There are a lot of lenses that we already know are on their way to us and my question for all of you is what lens/lenses are you waiting to buy?
I'm super excited about the 10-24 with optical stabilization.

All of them, really.
I may not buy many or even any of them, but each one seems to be superlative, and I'm eager to see what they can do.
Probably will pick up the long tele this summer.

Actually.... I'm waiting for a Helios 44-2 M42-mount 58mm f2 lens from Ukraine. Already got the adapter for the XPro1. Once that arrives, I'll no longer have to wait for the Fuji 58/1.4!

Agree "Willie" 23/1.4 and 56/1.4 and a 90/2 wouldn't go amiss!

600 man the price of that lens went way up... Glad I bought it when I did. The second camera system that I owned after the Minolta sr1 was the Konica t2 w/ 21f4, 57f1.4 and 80-200 zoom. Before I totally stopped shooting slr's, I acquired more lens..
What about the 57f1.4, they made tons of them.

57/1.4 not considered outstanding... at least no better than my nice little nikkor 50/1.8 Ai lens. If someone wanted to trade a Hexanon AR 50/1.7 or 50/1.4 for my Nikkor, then I'd switch. Otherwise... good enough.
By the way, I just got a CV 15mm Heliar from another RFF member and am liking it. Widest lens I've had in a LONG time, so its a refreshing view of the world.

Try a manual focus 57 like Konica 57f1.4..since u were thinking about buying an adapter. U can pre focus and when someone comes into zone take the picture.
Btw as i think about it...what about trying mf mode on the 60 and hitting ael/afl button approach? Otherwise pre focus w/ the 60 should also work. But the 60 is the slowest lens in the bunch.
The 55 setting on the zoom is much faster btw.

I originally bought the xe1 to eventually be used for a ir conversion. But the more I think about it after handling it... An xe1 w/ 27 pancake...puts it in about the same size as the x100s... Now I am not sure.

i had the zoom for awhile and yes, it is way faster than the 60.
i did have it on manual and was using the back buttons...
it started me thinking about a nice 50mm sonnar to make a lovely 75...

the 27 on the x-e1 is going to be a great street kit!
i have this terrible dream every night that fuji will release the 27 on the first day of winter, during a record blizzard and i wont have the opportunity to shoot it till spring!!
