I find that the files take a while to write with the Transcend 16GB SD card. I believe its a 20mb/second card. What SD cards are you using and how are your write speeds? Would a faster card show any difference or is the camera just not that fast at writing files?

I saw those while looking around online today. I think I'll purchase those. Thanks!

Used to use Sandisk but have used Samsung SDHC Pro cards for a while now and they more than hit the spot in any camera I've used them in. Work great in the X-Pro1.

I ordered the SanDisc Extreme Pro cards when I got my XPro. Very reliable and probably far quicker than needed at 95mb/s and class 10. I always feel that a thousand or so images were important enough to not risk failure with a lesser, off-brand card only to save a few dollars. If I'm not mistaken, the Fuji owner's manual only recommends SanDisc and their own brand, FWIW. However, I suspect the Fuji X series are likely much less picky than the Leica M digitals.
