I don't know if I knew this before and forgot or what, but I'm looking into slide film now and found that Astia is gone.

What is a good replacement for it? Slide film for Portraiture.

Thanks

I believe out of the very few 35mm slide emulsions still in production, the closest we could get would be the RDP.

In 120, though, we still have the E100G.

I agree with aperture64, there isn't one... probably a Fuji Pro 160NS or a Kodak Portra 160 pulled to 100, will be the closest thing you'll be able to get.

I've yet to find anything to replace Astia (or Reala in 135 for that matter), but Portra 160 is nice. You'll never get the same contrast with negs though.
If you scan then you could sorta tweak Provia 400X into a similar look but it's no replacement.

You can still find Astia if you look for it. If you want to stock up then now is the time.
