What code should be used for a CV 75mm Color-Heliar? I am getting a Milich adapter for it and want to code it properly. The 75mm Summarit is the closest match, but no one has seen the code for it yet.

My findings are that the M8 doesn't apply any noticeable corrections to lenses 50mm and over, so it probably doesn't matter which Leica 75 the C/V is coded for. With wide-angles it matters that you choose a code who's Leica lens's vignetting characteristics are most closest to the non-Leica lens.

I wouldn't bother. You won't see vignetting with this lens. If you had to chose, I'd code it as a 75 Summicron.

Wait and see how the 75/2.5 Summarit is coded.

Has anyone seen the code for a 75/2.5 Summarit?

I just occurred to me that if i do see the code for a Summarit 75, I'd have to wait till I have the newest firmware update for my M8 in order to recognize it.

I use my CV 75 just fine without any coding and see no need for it. Only at 35 and below can it become an issue.

Mount arrived today. Coded it as a 75mm 'cron for EXIF purposes only. Here is a test shot:
Will post more as I get them.
