... today I was doing the poster for a new show.

Looking down to find myself with a Leica and a Glock 9mm.

(The camera's real, the gun not so much...)

All good fun.

Ahhh feeling cock sure and secure with 'loaded' tools :  :p. , :D
Priced like Jewels
Wonderful shot !

On a sidenote: i do see the Lure and Glamour of guns
But I'm not a fan of Guns and detest with a passion the way to Powerful 'NRA'

That wasn't a very long break Helen.. ;)

Nice shot... I like anything mechanical. Shutters, triggers, watches.. :)

Hmmmm, I see You missed Me ..
Actually very little is pulling me back
But TennesseJones' humor did !

Way too many 'Street' Threads now, arghhhh overkill

Be careful with the fake Glock. Cops can't tell the difference.

Hey you guys & gals. I love viewing the "Street" threads.;)

Ha!
Always keep an iphone handy....
I agree about guns, but over here we don't have many of them around.
This was a prop...

What Fun shooting your 'Poster' ideas ... A working Title yet for the show ?
Best of Luck with it ALL

I know!
Just reassuring myself really.
This show is called Camelot: The Shining City.
I'll post the image when it's approved!

As a playwright you'll be aware of unconscious influence. The genius mocking Leicaphile Ikanagas in one of his Leica videos on youtube (Video 9) has on the table in front of him some Leicas, some stacked $100 bills, some bullets and a gun. If you haven't seen his videos they are an absolute treat. The best is the one on the Noctilux. (When it comes to the aperture ring and f stops he prefers the even numbers....)

Actually the handgun as an incidental first appeared in Video 6, the Monochrom review. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2MOZuMU5SI

One of the commenters to Video 9 quotes your fellow playwright, Chekov:

"If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don't put it there." Anton Chekhov

Brilliant, thank you for that!
Yes, damn right.
Show someone a gun in act one, shoot someone in the face with it by the end of the night.
