Whatever happened to the "random" pictures?

I enjoyed seeing the random selections from the gallery when I logged on. They've been gone for a while. What happened?

I also think it's a pity that they've been gone. There were frequently really good ones and many sources of inspiration.

I thought they were removed to make way for the RFF Contest Banner. That was the spot where they used to pop-up.

Maybe they could come back as a link so that they didn't load on the main gallery page but it would still give a random photo option? How about right next to the 1Day, 7 Days links just below the most recent 8 photos on the main Gallery page? Please? 🙂
