No shortage of Leica dealers with a range of LTM cameras, lenses etc alongside the new, but apparently no Canon counterparts. Are there any in the UK ? Tell me if so, with web addresses if applicable, please.
(Outlook seems bad to me, when Ffordes have none among their Used listings)

I know Mwclassic (mwclassic.com) list Canon rangefinders fairly often. Just last week they advertised a large selection of cameras/lenses and there are still a few remaining in stock.

EDIT: Oops, RubyMonkey got there first 🙂
.

Remember that up to the early 60's Canon R/F cameras were not sold in UK due to import restrictions. Even after that they were not exactly popular here, so there were never really any dealers who specifically specialised in them.
I have RPS annuals from the early 60's, the only Canons advertised in them are the Canonflex, no R/F's at all.
When I bought my 7s in the late 70's ( It was bought in Canada)
most dealers here said they had never seen one before.
MW is probably best bet!

MWClassics are great to deal with.
Last week i bought my first Canon RF from them.
Canon 7 with 50mm F1.2
Everything is in pristine condition but they noticed the lens was a little cloudy and so they have sent it away for a service. All for the original price they quoted for the kit.

Other than MW there is Peter Loy at http://www.peterloy.com/, he usually has quite a few Canon items, currently he has six RF items. Canon via the Omiya Trading Co in Tokyo advertised the Hansa (which was the trading name of the company) in the 1938 and 1939 British Journal Photographic Almanac but after the war, John was correct, as there were import restrictions.
