I placed a pristine 35mm Leica Minilux Zoom for sale on Fred Miranda and got little interest from the digital crowd there. Someone advised me that this was the place to sell it but I do not see any buy/sell forum here. Can someone clue me in? Thanks.

My M5s need red dots!
Here, photo.net, and, the last resort, eBay.
Incidentally... how much do you want for it?

Thanks for the info from you both. I was asking $625 including shipping for the camera, Leica flash. I live in Barrington IL if you want to see it. DeKalb is pretty nearby. I am at 847 304-0637

No, no, you don't SELL Leica. You BUY Leica.

You might try Calling for a quote at these places, Try selling at:
(515)225-0110, Jim Kuehl, former Leitz sales rep, have bought some fine nearly new stuff from him. Sells for less than others on market. Have only bought from him.
http://www.danblackleica.com/prices.php a one person seller of used Leica. Fun Guy. Sells for less than others. Have only bought from him.
http://www.keh.com/hmpg/index.cfm a BIG Atlanta dealer of much used equipment. I've bought & sold here. They range from good prices to not wanting a selling product. For moving items they are okay normally.

http://www.tamarkin.com/ a better N.Y. boutique Leica house. I've never bought or sold here but they make a market in Leica equipment.
http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=category&cat1=Used makes a market in Leica, a bit hasty on the phone but they buy and sell a lot.

Welcome to the forum both Bill and Tom!
Great list there Tom! I looked up George Ury's price list because I was seriously thinking of getting a 0.85 mag M7 he had listed there for $1995. Now I see it is listed at $2250. I assume that is the effect of the increase in prices from Leica...

It's always interesting how fast sellers raise prices, even on the stock they already have. I suppose it's true what one guy said - Leitz wouldn't sell any MORE cameras if they were $2000, or any FEWER if they were $4000. Given that Leicas are, after all, something of a 'niche' market, the French outfit that reportedly owns a glob of Leitz stock wanted to make them even more esoteric.
My one and only Leica is an M4-2 that I bought new when it was the current model. Of course, that's back a few years, but it's still a fine camera, and should stay that way with the moderate use it gets.
