Apologies if this has been covered but I got nothing form the search function.
I'm heading back downunder for Christmas and I was wondering if there's any place I can get traditional B&W (i.e. Tri-X, HP5, etc) processed and scanned at the same time? While in the States I send my film to North Coast Photographic in CA where they process it and can do hi-res scans at up to 5035 x 3339 (about 16.8 Mp at the same time. I have been totally stoked with the results but back home when I was trying to get even plain ol' color negative film scanned the highest I could find was 2048 x 3072 (6.3Mp) which is okay for most purposes but the problem was the results were extremely variable - sometimes great, sometimes just appalling. The places that do B&W don't scan, and vice-versa.
I'd really like to shoot some film over the break and it would be great if there was someplace that can offer a one-stop solution for B&W otherwise I might have to stick to color negs and chromogenic film.
Thanks for any advice on this!
