Hello,
I bought a Leica M8.2 and a summicron 28mm recently, but although on most aspects this equipment met my expectations (mostly the "rangefinder concept"), I recently and unexpectedly got into other kinds of photography (action and wildlife) which are not well-suited to rangefinders, and I'd like to change my equipment.
I bought both in France, but I'm currently residing in Montreal, Canada (yes, I precise Canada, because there is a Montreal in France as well !).
Do you any way I could sell these two there ? Such as a Leica dealer that would sell used equipment ?
Thanks a lot for your help !

This is a dealer: http://www.leicaboutique.com/index.php?ENC=0
26 Notre Dame East, Montreal, Quebec. Canada H2Y 1B9.
Tel: 1-514-875-5110; 1-866-875-5110
You're better off selling privately. How much do you want for it, and are you going to "help with warranty work"?

Stick it in the classifieds. The dealers are going to rip you off...

Vickko, what do you mean by helping with the warranty work ? Taking charge of repairs in my own name (as written on the warranty card) even after the camera fell in other hands ?

the dealer they are talking about is jean. his shop is called camtec. there are two shops... one on the corner of rue notre dame and mcgill and one further east (two blocks past the cathedral). it's the one past the cathedral you want. jean is a great guy but i suspect there will be a hefty "commission".
another option is simons. they are about three blocks away. they have a "lecia" case as well..
other than that try craigslist. their are a few leica enthusiasts about in montreal. it shouldn't take long.
