Folks,
I'd like some opinions please. I've got some lenses that I don't use enough in Kiev/Pentacon 6 mount(the lenses are for my Kiev 60 camera). I also have a couple of 35mm SLRs--an EOS rebel(birthday present from my sister) and a Pentax K2. I've been thinking of getting (from ARAX) an adaptor to use my 500mm lens on one of my slrs. The adaptors are pretty cheap; $35 US plus shipping. So they are, I think a workable solution for the rare occasion when I want a long lens. Both cameras will meter and set shutter for me or I'll be able to manualy meter,set shutter speed and shoot.
At this point I'm leaning towards using the Rebel since it is much lighter than the K2. And whichever camera I decide to use will be hanging off the back of the lens--the lens has its own tripod mount.
Any body got some thoughts about this?

I used all the CZJ P6 lens, except the 120mm on a Nikon F3 before. It's very workable (on a tripot), I even shoot AE with it. The sharpless held up in 135, if you use mirror lock up. Wonderful lens.
2 downside, the 180 & 300 sonnars have very crappy tripot mounts, making it almost useless (mirror locked up all the way) and they are so heavy I end up trading in my 300 for RF gear (that's how I begin with rangefinder, got so sick of the weight)
