Which Fomapan film (100, 200, 400) is the best, in your opinion? Which one do you recommend?

FP100 is a real allround film. It reacts like APX-100, the old Leverkusen type APX.
The look for FP200 is very special and you can push the film a bit. A bit more precise in which developer you're going to use it.
FP400 you can use on iso 200-250. In roll film the grain is OK and it gives easily a wide Grey scale.
The not mentioned Retropan 320 Soft is already a special film. A real low contrast film and very grainy.
I like the FP200 much and using it frequently in 35mm and 120 roll film.
I am using Foma film since 1997. Foma made a big step in Q.C. the last 10 years.

I would say, my favorite is the Classic 200. Indeed a special film.
I also like the 100. And I am about to try the Retro Soft 320 in large format.

Ive had best luck with the 100. The 200 was ok as well. Stay away from the 400. Ive never had good luck with that.

I like the look of Fomapan 400, it reminds me of Tri X from the early 1970s.
Easy: foma 100.
True classic look. Beautiful rendition. Bulletproof: simply works.
Foma200: rate at iso 50.
Foma400: never use for caucasian people. Near infrared, ugly for portraits. Ok for black pople and for landscapes. I avoid that film.

Both were at box speed, the 100 with a Jupiter8 and the 400 with an Elmar-m. I don't wet print my pictures if that makes any difference. Also I tend to round up with my meter readings so probably over expose most of my shots by one stop.
I haven't worked out yet why anyone would use the 320?

Currently I am testing Fomapan 100, 200, 400 in bulk form and 100, 200 in 120 form. I purhased Fomadon P, R09, LQN developers. In addition, I use Agfa APX 100 new emulsion. Seeing the end results, there is very slight difference. I have troubles to choose my default film and developer, they are quite similar.

Another vote for 100, esp. for classic uncoated or single-coated lenses.

APX-100 NEW = Kentmere 100. In R09 you won't have the fine grain and details in the shadow like the original APX-100 Agfa Leverkusen emulsion. So unfortunately it is not an equal quality film for this.
Best developer from your choices is Fomadon P W37 for it.
FP100 and your R09 E.I. 80 will be OK. Almost the result like the former APX-100 in R09/Rodinal 1+50.
If you like grain FP200 E.I.80 - 100 in R09 can be a good choice. If not take the LQN variant. The same for FP400, use LQN. If speed (E.I. 200) and a bit higher Gamma is not a problem: Fomadon P W37.
Not in your possesion Fomadon Excel W27 and FP200 E.I.160, a great combo!
Alternatives for the Fomadon P W37: ID-11 / D-76. Fomadon Excel W27: Xtol or PC-TEA (Pat Gainer). Alternative for LQN: Rollei Supergrain, AM 74.
i have searched this out up from 1997 till recent experiences with the Fomapan films. Good luck with YOUR choice!

This is more like it for me,
Soft Retro 320 in large format.
I've just ordered 300 sheets from Germany to get started with it:

I really like Fomapan 100 at 64 with Rodinal. I haven't tried the other speeds yet.

I second that,
Fomapan 100 has unique look among films I've tried

Below one was taken with 35/2 IV wide open, and it gave a "large format" look
