I need to print about a thousand 4x6s, and I would like to get them with the Fuji Frontier white borders. Does anyone know of a major (uploadable) lab that does this?
Thanks!

There are some Costco labs that use Frontier printers, e.g., LP 5700R, 370, 570, etc... depending on location, if you're not averse to having it done at Costco.

You can select your state and nearest Costco with a Frontier printer from the list on the far-left column.
If you find one, click on the link for the ICC profile for specific paper that printer, if you desire. I've always done so in the past when I send a print to my local Costco.

Costco prints with white borders (if requested). My local one uses Noritsu though.
BUT you cannot upload to them until at least the beginning of August because of a hacking issue that hit a bunch of the big chain stores. Apparently there is a single vendor that is used by all the big guys for image storage/library service, and they were the ones hit (not Costco itself).
You can still go to a location with your images on a memory stick and do it that way.

When you said "national lab" I was thinking Los Alamos, Sandia or Livermore! Sorry, I'm a child of the cold war, and live in Abq.
I recently had my local lab, Picture Perfect, make prints and many have white borders, since they were 4:3 aspect ratio printed to 4"x6". They use a Noritsu machine, so I suspect most labs could do this, if they were so willing; I suspect it's more an issue of the lab staff being willing to print borders than the capability of the machine.
BTW, I'm archiving a large number of my digital photos to 4x6 or 5x5 RA-4 prints, to be stored in a decorator box in my living room. Better are the prints to be seen than the ones sitting unseen on some hard drive.
Here's a blog article about these prints:

I'd take Livermore's methods over a local drug store's!
