I am new to the medium format landscape photography and i am going to print some photos but i couldn't decide which paper i will use. I know that it is just aesthetic issue but i want to take your opinions. My paper stock is such that:

*) Ilford MultigradeIV FB Glossy and warm tone FB Glossy
*) Ilford MultigradeIV FB Matt
*) Kentmere Fineprint VC FB F.G Warmtone (semi-matt)
*) Forte PW14 poly-warmtone FB Glossy

I searched and saw some examples on the net but i couldn't decide. May you share your experiences? If you were me, which paper do you chose? Also what is your favorite paper for landscape photos.

BTW, i often chose ilford glossy papers for my street photos and ilford glossy warmtone for portraits.

Agfa Brovira #2.

OOPS! Wrong century.

Try the Ilford Warmtone. A surface in between glossy & matt. I forget the name. Like lustre.

It depends on the look you are after. Forte PWT is warmer than MGWT, but the latter, in a cold developer, is a good all rounder. The MGIV will be better for a neutral tone of course, but I lik the paper far less than PWT and MGWT. I rarely use matt or semi-matt papers for landscapes, but YMMV.

MULTIGRADE FB WARMTONE is available in double weight 1K glossy and 24K semi-matt surfaces.

That's what I'm talking about.

Paper, like film, will generate 110 choices from 100 folks. Try more than one. Pick one you like. Pray they don't stop making it. Like Agfa Brovira #2 Semi-gloss.
