Just got a really nice Zuiko 55mm f1.2 in the post from Ffordes Photographic (outstanding customer service, speed and efficiency as usual from them - and great value for money).
The only nagging worry I have is that there doesn’t seem to be any online consensus on when the radioactive version ended - and with two very small kids at home I don’t like the idea of owning an even slightly dangerous piece of equipment.
So does anyone know? Is it really only the silver-rimmed version that has the rare earth elements? Or did the change happen at some other stage, where only the serial shows the difference? (mine is 157916)
Grateful for any help or pointers to relevant and hopefully definitive information.
