Who is the "go to" service person for Fujica GSW 690?

My "new" GSW 690 has a frame-spacing issue, and I'd love to bring it back to top-notch working order.

Half a world away but Frank Marshman of Camera Wiz, 169 Pleasant Hill Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22801-5775, (540) 434-8133 is the Fuji man in the US of A.

Of course, like most camera repair dudes, he doesn't "do" email or have a website.

Thanks Frank. Lack of email is a bit of an issue, but I do have a relative heading to CA next week, so if I'm quick I can avoid part of the postage cost! It is a heavy camera!

Fuji 680 as well?

Fuji 680 as well?

I am intrigued - I got a Fuji 680 on the 'Bay and it is electro-dead. Nice lens, every film back possible, I even bought a new battery pack. Nada.

This is why I prefer all-mechanical camers, or ones where only the meter is electric. Thanks.

Just FYI - I sent the camera to a local, Ben Vang at Camera Check POoint in Dubbo. I'll get it back this week and will report. Ben told me the camera was in pretty good overall condition but the lubricants had dried out and that often causes frame-spacing issues.

EDIT: reporting in - camera seems to work fine after the service, and the frame spacing is much better.

Frank Marshman has done a ton of stuff for me, including reviving the AE100 metered lens for the Older Fujica interchangeable lens. In fact, just shot a roll two days ago using that lens. It's also the only lens in the interchangeable line having EBC (Electronic Beam Coating) and the last interchangeable lens Fuji made for those bodies.

The metering on that lens is Mahvelous Dahlink!!!
