Just wondering what Youtube channels RFF members follow?
My two favorites are:
1. Theoria Apophasis (very technical and direct)

2. Three Blind Men and An Elephant Productions (Entertaining)

Hmmm. Feeling behind the times, but I don't use Youtube that way. Chalk me up to "no one."

I just subscribed to Theoria Apophasis' Youtube channel last week, happened to stumble across it. I think I agree with a lot of his conclusions about lenses, and he seems to be entertaining. He's not my guru or anything, just seems like a funny, smart guy.
About the only channel I really pay attention to on Youtube is
https://www.youtube.com/user/mustie1
He rebuilds old cars, motorcycles, other things with motors. He's a hoot.

Same here. Review videos take too much time. I'd rather read an article and skip those parts that I don't care about.
That said, the few times I've seen videos with Kai, he was entertaining.

Not Youtube but really only reviewers for me are fist and foremost Roger Cicala of Lens Rental, followed by the crew on PhiilipReeve.

I agree that Theoria Apophasis (AKA The Angry Photographer) has some useful points of view especially on lenses but his manic giggling and constant unnecessary swearing do put me off watching him as much as I would perhaps like to as I end up getting annoyed with him.
I am not prudish in the least and have been known to utilize profanity pretty liberally at times but swearing all the time for the sake of it or just for emphasis quickly becomes tiresome. (Kai (Kaiman Wong) makes better use of off-color jokes though some are a bit juvenile.)
This guy Matt Granger (he used to be known as That Nikon Guy and still has videos on Youtube under that name as well) is good though not as prolific a poster as some

And Steve Huff is entertaining and reasonably informative within his limited field of cameras and lens types though not in the least bit technical (if you want that you need to go elsewhere)

All up I find this guy (Chris Nichols ) over at DP Review pretty informative, serious and credible.

Um. The "Angry Photographer" kind of rubs me the wrong way. Just a matter of style and my aesthetic. I know people like him but I just don't click with him. Lots of reasons why... But, the world is still a fairly big place and I am not the only inhabitant.
Kai (originally of Digital Rev) is much more to my liking. His humor is more appreciated, and he has held a lot of gear in his hands. Not pretentious, and clearly not "in the pocket" of any manufacturer. And....he likes Leica. Too many out there are either mindless Leica fanboys, or bitter Leica haters. Kai is neither, and he genuinely understands where in this universe the Leica fits....and he likes his. A bit like me? So, when he fills me in on other gear, I tend value his opinion... Lately, he's been a little more into his video stuff than I care about. Still interesting...

Nobody on Youtube makes especially helpful videos for my camera shopping. When it comes to basic features like the viewfinder, the AF, the controls, and the feel of the camera, there are always lots of differences between what they say and what I think when I finally check out the camera. The practical information I get is a list of things to pay attention to when I go to the store.
But I like watching Chris and Jared at DP Review, Kai and Lok, Bigheadtaco, the Northrups, and The Luminous Landscape.

Same, I've tried watching Theoria Apophasis a couple of time but don't find him entertaining or interesting to listen to.
(There are several youtubers that I follow and most I just listen while doing other tasks).
Don't really follow as many YT channels regarding photography, but those I still check from time to time are
-The Art of Photography
-Kai W
-Lok Cheung
-EduardoPavezGoye
-Paul C Smith Photographer
-Chris Nichols DPREV
-Matt Day
Ken Wheeler?! Really?
The Angry Photog has serious issues, I know them firsthand, not from hearsay.
He was banned at my forum for causing all sorts of mayhem. He re-registered, claiming to be a 68 year old woman....
