After hearing btgc and others I decided to get a Lynx 5000. Hardly a mark on it and it works great. My second one but first in about ten years. It will sit on the shelf between my GT and Konica AutoS2
when its not in use. It has a totally great feel in the hand and is quiet as can be.

BTW, what weight is the salmon in your avatar? I caught a near 50 lb in Alaska a few years back, great eating.

Didn't suspect I made a buzz around 5000 - so I will go delete my earlier postings before prices on them rise like on all those cameras, which have gained popularity after enthusiasts have praised them on Net.
Have a good light, ully! Nice yours works on arrival, too.
In case you see 54mm clamp-on Petri hood, grab it, sometimes cheap and non sought after Petri models (52mm filter thread) with hood appear on Bay.
Screw-in filter will block 5000' speeds ring, when tightened (because of design).
