Why it's better to print ......

Definitely a problem of the digital age.

If you don't like prints cluttering up your space you can create a photo book once a year and have your best shots all in one place.

We also load our digital images into a digital frame and let it rotate the images so it takes up less space than several frames. We even scan and load the school pics.

Each time I take photograph I print at least one photo. Maybe small, maybe one each ten or one each..., but one base to be printed.

The joy to find a small print maybe forgotten since years in an old cardboard box is immense.

And I think editing and printing is a pleasant part of the process of photography, I wrote a few posts about in my blog here, if you are curious.

I recently started getting mini-lab RA4 prints made of my favorite images, and am now storing them in a decorative box in my living room. When this project is done, I hope to have several thousand.

I like that the file name of each print is imprinted on the reverse side, making it easy to search for in my hard drive archives, should another print be needed.
