Why Jiri Ecer is the best!

Many of us have purchased rangefinder equipment over the years from "Jiri-e" on the big auction site. He has always been honest in grading his equipment and excellent in his communications. I won a Canon 50 MM 1.4 lens from him a few weeks ago and am very happy with it. Based on his description of the lens I expected a product with minimal scratches on the rear element. His vision must be far better than mine, because what I identified was very minimal. But that's not what I'm happy about.

While out two days ago, the S-50 Lens hood I've been using with the lens slipped out of my bag and landed on a brick sidewalk, right on the adjustment screw(talk about serendipity) which snapped off. Knowing of Jiri's specialization in Canon equipment, I emailed him as a former customer, and he quickly arranged to ship me a replacement for a very fair price.

He's got a lifelong customer now.

I won a Nicca from Jiri and based in Japan I didn't have any idea how long it would take to arrive in Houston, TX. Well 4 days later the camera arrived. I love the camera and have since then purchased many more rangefinder lens.

I have purchased a couple of Canon items from jiri-e, and have to concur with the previous posters. Great person to buy from, excellent merchandise, and packages arrived in 4 days from Japan to east coast USA.
