Hello!
I recently purchased a used F7 Widelux and then sent it in to be overhauled. My question however is pertaining to the focus. I have shot about 5 rolls through the camera and have tried scanning them in but it seems to me that the images are really soft and not nearly as tack sharp as I've seen others in this forum. Any ideas?

Quick check, tdphoto. Are you shooting infinity wide open?
The widelux is fixed focus at 11 ft and needs to be stopped down to reach infinity.

Can you post anything you've taken where with subjects at a range of distances from close, mid and far preferably in the same frame. They tend to be soft at near distance unless really stopped down, and even then not sharp, but anything from mid distance and onward should be sharp. If you haven't had any after five rolls I'd say you have a problem unfortunately.

Thanks for the replies! I did notice that the shots I had taken at a wider aperture were significantly more out of focus than the ones I had taken at F11. I've been looking at a ton of other photographers widelux shots and still seems like their shots are ten times more "crisp" than mine. I'll try and post a few examples.
