What wrist strap are you using on this camera (if you are using one)?
I'm not into gordy straps and I'm not sure I want the lance strap for this camera. Browsed ebay's billions of straps and couldn't find something I like either. I may just buy another Ricoh GR wrist strap and use it. Any suggestions?
Please Note:
The Sigma DP2 Merrill has atypical strap lugs.
I'm not interested in the neck straps that people are using on this camera.

O rings don't work well with these sigma strap lugs...

Good question. I've been searching far and wide and haven't found a solution I'm completely happy with either. I'm not a Gordy strap person, and I tried a Lance strap but found it too big. I really just want something minimal. In that vein I tried some cheap "Polaroid" wrist straps from ebay, which are the right size but very cheaply made, to the point where I don't trust them. Right now I'm using a strap advertised for the RX100 on *bay. http://tinyurl.com/ltt6ek9 it's the right size and constructed decently, but the "pleather" is extremely cheap and too big imo. I was looking at the OEM strap for my rx100 the other day and my current thinking is that that is what I'm looking for. It's minimal but seems to be strong enough.

Gordy's straps work quite nice on it.

They might be nice for you, but have been excluded by the original post:

hmmm, this might be worth a try:

apparently (based on the photo) the nex cameras have similar lugs to the sigma.

Yes, but it's gotta be something I like.

I love the Wood and Faulk camera strap even though it's designed for a lug, it works very nicely on the style of connector the Sigma has. I just cut open the little protective leather piece a little to make room for the corner of it to connect mine to one of my cameras.

I have a couple of Serenar-era screw-in wrist straps I move from camera to camera. Superb leather, snug fit, free rotation. Better for tripod screw-ins at the end of the bottom plate than the center, but the diff is marginal on smaller cameras.
Can't find any online images of the Canon straps, but here's link to to a seller who admires them enough to create a retro version: http://bit.ly/18xBi0C. S/he also sells various screw-ins to use with a Luma-loop style strap of any length.

i hate lens straps with any metal attachments or bits because i'm worried about screen scratching
i use a simple "fish" strap that i found online can't find a link for it now, but it's basically like those point and shoot straps where you loop it through, but the strap material is like a thick shoelace.

On my compact I use an Optech wrist strap. Not fancy but works well and is comfortable. I just ordered the Rainbow Imaging one above to try.
