Good morning/afternoon/evening,

Slowly, slowly the Leica virus is taking possession of me (and you all know who are to be thanked for that!!). Bought a second hand M6 and now on the lookout for a MP body as well. Anybody have one up for sale/trade? I may be interested in making my Bessa R3A with M Rokkor 40/2 (CLE version) part of the deal.

You think someone is going to gladly trade you an MP for a Bessa even with some $$ thrown in? Heh, I doubt it.

Just get $2,350.00 US together and go to your favorite "grey" dealer; that's what I did yesterday actually. :angel: Instant black paint Leica MP.
 
www.popflash.com still has the best prices of which I'm aware. Then of course you have the HK dealers.

Every so often oen pops up on Ebay. I haven't seen many used MPs or M7s for sale. I think most folks are pretty happy with them, as the build quality, in my opinion, exceeds the M6, which, itself, is of very high quality.

About a month ago I came across a dealer who was selling out his Leica inventory ("because it did not sell") at dealer cost. I've been so happy w/ the MP which I purchased back in 2003, that a picked up a second one.

MP is a good choice. Nice looks and a very robust tool.
