All enamored of my new Nikon 610, I listed my X-Pro1 for sale . . . for two days. I just took the ad down. Sorry X-Pro1. What was I thinking? There's room for both of you.

Your price on it was right, too; I'm surprised it didn't get snapped up before you came to your senses.

Well, it's funny. We all know that equipment may be the least important factor in producing an image. But whenever I'm feeling stagnant and uninspired a change in cameras can get the creative juices flowing again. The D610 and X-Pro1 are quite different.

Like you, I like having gear that I can use to 'change things up'. So I've recently settled in with a D600, X-Pro1 + 35, and (soon) a Nikon 1 V3. These can be used interchangeably but giving very different feel/approach. I only go out with one at a time. Switching kits shakes things up in a positive way, for me... kind of keeping things fresh in a way.
