Thanks, this is at the top of my current short list.
And this is not a GAS list -I believe I could retire 3, 4, maybe 5 or more cameras with the XT.

Thanks for that, just reading up now. Can't wait for mine to arrive, I heard that it's available in Japan this Sunday so hopefully we won't have to wait too long after that though my dealer said def the last week of February.

Good point. They work the way I want a digital camera to work.
